DIN_FRU is one of the many Full Tilt Poker high stakes players. However, what seems to separate him from most of the other players is the fact that instead of the big bet poker (PL and NL) he seems to prefer the fixed limit games. Who is DIN_FRU at Full Tilt Poker?
It is widely believed that the player behind the account is Swedish Erik Sagstrom. Erik was one of the first online poker players to make it really big. It is believed that he made several million dollars from online poker already over 5 years ago. Majority of these moneys came from the $200/$400 6 max fixed limit holdem games that used to run regularly at Ladbrokes. Other people who were regularly playing these games are believed to include for an example Patrik Antonius (supposedly under the nick name I_KNOCKOUT_U) and Bengt Sonnert (supposedly under the screen name pkrbt).

Besides being active online poker player Erik has also several times spoken about his adventures in the online sports betting world, it is naturally believed to that he bets extremely high amounts on the games that he places bets on. On top of being successfully poker player Erik has also been involved with the business side of the things. He and Gus Hansen were the two main faces of PokerChamps online poker room before it was sold to BetFair (the sale price is speculated to have been over 10million euros). After that he ran for a while his own online poker room, Erik123, named after his most famous online poker nick. This is the nick he still uses at PokerStars so if you spot the nick in action you are watching the legend playing and might consider taking a few notes. DIN_FRU has also enjoyed decent success in the live poker tournaments. For an example, in 2009 he finished 3rd for over $500,000 in the $50,000 HORSE World Series of Poker event. He can also be found occasionally playing at the Bobby’s Room in Erik Sagstrom is also well known for being competitive in other things than gambling. He is for an example excellent golfer and as a kid used to play ping pong seriously. Back when DIN_FRU made majority of his poker bankroll he used to live in city called Linkoping (rather big University site in Southern Sweden) at the time there were also several other really successfully online poker players who lived in Linkoping and because of that it was a for a while known as “the poker capital of world”. These days Erik is believed to still live in Funny fact about the name: DIN FRU is Swedish and means roughly translated “your lady” or “your queen”
