Let It Ride is a unique form of poker. In many variations of poker, players are pitted against each other. In Let It Ride, players are not competing against anyone except the casino. They are trying to create a hand that includes a pair of tens and better. They are only looking to be dealt a great hand.
Let It Ride is played with a standard deck of 52 cards. Each player will have three bets riding. As mentioned above, the goal is to create a hand that includes a pair or tens or better.
Each player is dealt three cards. There are also 2 community cards which the dealer deals to him or herself. Players use all of these cards (their three plus the two community cards) to create their final hand. Every player makes three bets of equivalent value. They are Circle 1, Circle 2 and Circle $ bets. After they receive and review their cards they can decide to cancel their Circle 1 bet or Let it Ride. Whatever their decision, it sticks once it is made. If a person cancels their bet, they can not bring it back into play later on. After each person has either decided to let their circle 1 bet ride or cancel it, the dealer turns one of the community cards over.
At this point, players have the opportunity to let their Circle 2 bet ride or cancel it. Players only have the option of letting their circle 1 and 2 bets ride or they may choose to cancel them. They make no decision about the $ Circle bet because it remains in play no matter what. After each player has made their decision about their Circle 2 bet, the dealer will turn over their second community card. The three cards dealt to them by the dealer and the two community cards, make up their 5 card hand. If it includes a pair of tens or better they win the $ circle bet and any other bet they let ride and which remains in play.
All subsequent payouts are dependent upon a player’s hands. A pair of tens or better pays out 1 to 1, two pair 2 to 1, 3of a kind 3 to 1, straight 5 to 1, flush, 8 to 1, full house 11 to 1, four of a kind 50 to 1, straight flush 200 to 1 and royal flush 1000 to 1. If a player does not have a pair of tens or better the dealer takes the $ circle bet and any other bets remaining in play because the player had chosen to let those bets ride.
Let it Ride is an extremely fun and exciting game. It is a form of poker which may be ideal for individuals who do not enjoy head to head competition. Instead of facing off with other players, individuals are essentially playing against themselves. Let it Ride is a fairly simple game and can be learned rather quickly. Individuals who decide to focus on the game with the hope of becoming really good and making a consistent income should practice as much as possible.
